Building relationships that make the difference

Wednesday Cooking Group

Occupational therapy students Christy and Alex ran their first cooking group on Wednesday, in the new Therapy Centre kitchen.

The group is designed to develop independent living skills, social skills and build social networks.

The therapy team utilises their skills to provide education to support workers, whilst ensuring that the people we support are empowered to develop skills that are important to them.

This week we cooked chicken and vegetables with rice and are currently planning what delicious meal will be made next week!
