Who we are

Who we are

Directions was initially established in 1994 as Heritage Individual and Family Support as an organisation that recognised the need for the whole family of an individual with disability to be valued and supported.

Work with us

Our staff and volunteers are an exceptional group of people who build strong relationships with the individuals and families that we support, and thrive on sharing their lives with some amazing people.

We welcome applications from people who would like to work or volunteer with Directions.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of funding disability services. Under the new scheme funding is allocated to people with disability themselves rather than to service provider organisations, giving people choice and control over the support that they need.
